With Hansensaal, Villa Eschenburg offers a stylish framework for concerts, thematic evenings, lectures, and presentations. Our diverse concert series showcase the fertile exchange and creative interaction between musical research and artistic practice that characterizes the close relationship between Brahms-Institut and Musikhochschule Lübeck.
Among the highlights each year, each May Brahms-Festival is held at the music academy, during which Villa Eschenburg presents hosted concerts. In the monthly concert series »Musik im Museum« (»Music at the Museum«), outstanding students from Musikhochschule Lübeck showcase their abilities. In December, »Weihnachten mit Brahms« (»Christmas with Brahms«), featuring music and readings, contributes to a festive Christmas season.
You can reach Villa Eschenburg via the bus lines 12, 15, 31 and 34 stopping at Adolfstraße (about 2 minutes walking distance) and all bus lines stopping at Gustav-Radbruch-Platz (about 7 minutes walking distance). Parking is available near the Villa.
The event and museum premises are accessible to people with disabilities. The lift is located to the right of the side entrance.
